The Singita Boulders Lodge, one of the most beautiful lodges in the world, is located on the western boundary of the Kruger National Park on 18,000 hectares of land called the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. Gently embedded in the fertile landscape of the Lowveld, a slightly hilly low plane on the Sand River, with its 9 separate suites, Singita Boulders lets you experience nature in its most exclusive form.

Along with the Land Rover tours, walking safaris are also offered, allowing you to experience flora and fauna at close range. The experienced rangers prove to be indispensable guides through a wild and fascinating world.
With an area of just under 20,000 m_, the Kruger National Park is about the same size as Belgium and is home to 140 types of mammals and 500 types of birds. As well as other animals, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, antelopes and hyenas and the so-called big five - the lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhinoceros - can be observed on the twice-daily safaris.

Boulders Lodge blends harmoniously into the almost tropical landscape. Stone, straw and woods come directly from the surrounding countryside, and so the Shanga comes into being - as it did before with the natives - a natural interplay of housing and landscape.
Basic elements of the traditional method of construction of the Shanga can also be found in the lodges architectural design. Like large birds wings, the straw-covered roofs hang over the main lodge and protect it from too much heat.

The blend of living space and the surrounding countryside is a real masterpiece of design. The continual interplay of opening and enclosing creates unique living areas, where everything seems to merge together.
Very different cultures come together in the interior decoration of the main lodge and the individual villas, combining to form a style of their very own.

With its many tall glass doors, the restaurant in the main lodge opens onto the garden via a large wooden veranda and terrace and the view into the wide landscape.
Colours, shapes and materials are coordinated right down to the very last detail. Traditional African craftsmanship becomes an integral part of a lively, modern design.

The nine suites of the lodge are separately embedded into the landscape and offer complete privacy.
Each suite in Boulders Lodge is an island. Fitted with their own pool, large veranda and all possible comforts, they provide a perfect setting in which to spend a few very private leisure hours. The large window fronts make the interiors light and offer an uninterrupted view into the completely unspoiled natural landscape of the Kruger National Park.

From breakfast to candlelight dinner, from a foot-massage to an ayurveda treatment in the open air, all services are also available in your private suite.

The suites are individually and lovingly designed right down to the very last detail. African craftsmen and international designers worked together to create unmistakable furnishings for Singita Boulders.

Large window fronts in the bathrooms too open out onto a fantastic panorama of the landscape. The early-morning rays of sunshine, a scented bath and the forests chorus of many voices greeting the day

The bedrooms with their king-size beds are almost too beautiful just to sleep in. The typical African straw roofs, the lovingly coordinated decorations and furniture create a harmonious atmosphere that can only be surpassed by the splendid view over the wide landscape into thousands of shades of green.
