A paradise for families in Sabi Sand. In the midst of a private game reserve on the western boundary of the Kruger National Park lies Castleton Camp - once the property used privately by the very owner of the famous Singita Lodges.

You can drift happily away in the large communal pool. And enjoy refreshment of one kind or another.
Castleton Camp is modest in a luxurious way. Six exclusive chalets are set right next to each other in a wonderful park. The comfortable family estate can only be rented as a whole. In this idyllic seclusion, you can seek the closeness of familiar company.

The chalets are built in old colonial style with thatched roofs, spacious verandas, stone pillars and stone steps.
Nestling in the bush atmosphere like a small village, the chalets invite you to call on your neighbours.
Under the shelter of tall trees, old family traditions are preserved playfully.

Mighty gnarled tree-trunks and branches give a feeling of ancient familiarity and security. Here, you can enjoy being as carefree as a child. In the sheltered Castleton Camp facilities, young and old can move freely as the mood takes them in the midst of a game reserve.

Please take a seat: In Sabi Sand you can easily watch wild animals at the waterhole.

One thing is part of another here. Supporting pillars of wood and straw-covered passages provide shade and in the main building they lead from the bar into the lounge and the restaurant. The carefully laid-out paths are reminiscent of small colonnades and invite you to stroll along them.

If its adventure youre looking for, then the best thing to do is go on safari. Sitting beside an experienced ranger in an open Land Rover, you can venture into the wilderness without worrying.
Even the rhinoceros seem to enjoy the familiar atmosphere. They are not the only wild animals who gather here peacefully by a long way. Lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards and other bush inhabitants also enjoy being guests in the savannah of Sabi Sand.
Back at home after an exciting safari, surrounded by cooling stone pillars, you can let yourself sink comfortably into low, soft armchairs or sofas, enjoy familiar companionship and together listen to the sounds of the bush.

Absolute comfort exists inside too. Everything reminiscent of old English family tradition is here: candelabras, a fireplace, a small library and lots of space for chatting and relaxing.
Small floral patterns and deep carmine fill the room. Exquisite ornaments too. It is the spirit of the lord of the manor that creates a warm, indeed an almost homely atmosphere everywhere here.
The bedrooms decorated with affection convey a rustic yet at the same time playful effect.
